Though we have extra anxiety on our minds (and doubt and stress and worry and...) having two parents not working makes for a pretty fun time for the toddler in our life.
If you're not up to speed, I'm a stay at home Mama and Steve is a recent grad with his shiny new Masters degree and has been on the job hunt for several months now.
We know this time in our lives is temporary so we try our hardest to enjoy all the moments we can all spend together before one us rejoins the working world.
So all of that leads me up to this photo dump of our recent week spent down in Virginia visiting Darwin's Grandma and Grandpa. We don't have any obligations to stay at home so we can freely travel and visit our family members (all of whom live at least a few hours away).
Grandpa lives in Roanoke, VA and we saw lots of sights and did lots of activities while we were there.

Oh I love these pictures, looks like you guys had such a wonderful trip! I wish we were traveling to somewhere, but no such plans anytime soon. Before we moved to Chicago Mike was layed of for 6 weeks or so. At the time it was kinda rough on us but looking back on that short time period in out life makes me smile now, and sometimes I really miss those moments we shared just the three of us everyday!
